Presented by Keeper’s Heart Irish American Whiskey, The Dan Patrick Show has been covering the lead-up to the Notre Dame vs. Navy football game live in Dublin all week.

As part of the coverage host Dan Patrick and his team were joined by Ferrell to discuss the highly-anticipated Aer Lingus College Football Classic featuring the University of Notre Dame vs. the United States Naval Academy game at Aviva Stadium on Saturday, August 26th.

The last live recording took place on Friday in College Green.

Ferrell is no stranger to Ireland, and has been spotted out and about making the most of his visit this week.

The Barbie actor stopped in for dinner at Hellfire, a swanky new restaurant on Westmoreland Street, on Tuesday evening where he enjoyed a three-course meal.

In a snap that the restaurant posted on social media, the 56-year-old was pictured wearing a Swedish Football jacket as he posed next to the chef.

Staff at the steakhouse said they were 'delighted' to meet the Emmy Award-winning actor, adding that he was 'just as kind as you would expect'.

Taking to Instagram, the Hellfire restaurant wrote: "We were beyond delighted to have the brilliant actor Will Ferrell dine with us last night!! Thank you so much for joining us at Hellfire."
